My images are created using chalk pastels on wood or textured paper. They are then scanned and sometimes finished digitally.

I grew up on a small island in Norway, climbing (and falling out of) trees in the "jungle", looking for trolls in the mountains and fighting crime and solving mysteries with the detective agency co-founded with my friends.

I still live on a small island, but this time in Kent, UK. Those childhood memories, padded out (and thoroughly blended) with reading a huge number of books, continue to give me loads of inspiration for my illustration work.

Since graduating with a degree in illustration, I have worked as the Art Director for a small design agency in Norway, and am now working freelance as an illustrator and designer.
